EURO 2008

Currently we all -mostly the guys:) are now infected with the EURO FEVER. I haven’t watched any live matches due to my work constraints, but sure will make it for the final.
As the tournament now enters the semi final stage, there’s been a lot of surprises and shockers!
I rooted for Holland to win the EURO, but they lost;( Now, hoping Spain will make an impact!

Four years ago, it was Greece who were considered as the underdogs but prevailed as the champions by beating the most fancied Portugal.Will this year be a Russian revolution?

In this tournament, apart from the Dutch, it has been the Russians who have played with that panache, passion and excitement. Roman Pavlyuchenko, Andrei Arshavin and Yuri Zhirkov have been the notable stand outs according to me. In the course of this tournament their defense has improved, becoming a force to reckon with and plus with the guidance of Gus Hiddink, Russia are 2 two games apart from glory.
